Here we've provided a few answers to some of the more commonly asked questions about our services.


Q:
How do you screen your caregivers?
A:
We require at least 3 years of experience and always call at least 3 references. New caregivers are normally referred by existing caregivers and word of mouth.
Q:
Do you do a criminal back ground check?
A:
Yes. As well as a DMV check for driving violations.
Q:
Are your caregivers experienced in caring for the elderly?
A:
Yes they are, most of them have medical background and caring for the elderly is second nature to them.
Q:
What do their duties include?
A:
Aside from taking care of the client’s well-being, they also do light house work such as: laundry, light meal preparation, making the beds, vacuuming, etc. Most of the caregivers will perform duties beyond what is needed of them and as is requested/required by client/family.
Q:
What happens if I encounter a problem after office hours?
A:
We have staffing coordinators and care managers who can take your call after office hours, including weekends. You will not be talking to an answering service.
Q:
What if we decide we need to change our caregivers - how soon can you respond?
A:
In 2 to 3 hours.
Q:
How many caregivers you have at any given time?
A:
We have 50-100 available caregivers in our pool.
Q:
Do you take long term care insurance?
A:
Yes we do and we will provide necessary paperwork for you to file a claim or we can file a claim on your behalf.
Q:
What Long Term Care Insurance companies do you work with?
A:
We work with all major carriers including Banker's Life, Calpers, Conseco, Genworth, etc.
Q:
Do you have live-in service?
A:
Yes we do, and this is what we specialize in, it makes it easy for the client and family to have one consistent person at all times.
Q:
Do you have a minimum number of days or hours requirement?
A:
No, we do not have a minimum number of hours or days.
Q:
What kind of accommodation do I need to provide for live-in service?
A:
They can be in the same room with the client when necessary or sleep on a pull out sofa or inflatable mattress.
Q:
Can they prepare American food/meals?
A:
Yes, meals that are healthy, low-fat/sodium diet, as required/instructed by you/family/MD
Q:
Does the caregiver communicate well in English?
A:
Our caregivers come from varied backgrounds. We make sure that s/he can read, write, and speak English with as little accent as possible (pronouncing words clearly). Most of them have attended college. Our caregivers can read to the client and help with tasks such as paying bills.
